With over 30 years of experience, Bimal is a seasoned Educational Psychologist specializing in neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and developmental delays. His expertise lies in the assessment and diagnosis of complex cases, paired with a deep proficiency in designing highly individualized intervention programs.

Bimal’s career began at M.I.N.D.S. as a special education teacher, a role that provided him with a foundational understanding of the diverse challenges faced by children with learning and developmental difficulties. Driven by a desire to deepen his impact, he completed his Master’s degree and joined the Child Development Unit (CDU) at K.K. Women’s & Children’s Hospital. During his tenure at KKH, Bimal was instrumental in program development and became a pivotal figure in parent education, leading workshops that empowered families to better support their children.

In 2007, Bimal further distinguished himself by becoming one of the region’s first RDI® Program Certified Consultants. Since then, he has supervised Consultants-in-Training and utilized the RDI® framework to help families view autism through a developmental lens. Today, Bimal operates his own private practice, guided by the firm belief that core behavioral issues are often best addressed through a neurological paradigm rather than a strictly behavioral approach.

Bimal is a dedicated advocate for public education with over a decade of experience lecturing on autism, ADHD, and child psychology. He has been a keynote speaker at regional conferences and is highly regarded for his ability to translate evidence-based research into practical intervention strategies. His extensive portfolio includes well-received training workshops for the Ministry of Education, various polytechnics, and statutory board. Whether addressing mainstream or Special Education (SPED) schools, Bimal’s sessions remain a trusted resource for parents and educators seeking grounded, impactful insights.
